- The alleged name of AT's browser that will be part of their 'surfer'
- Internet kit. Although I doubt they can whip up a decent browser
- that comes near the functionality of NetScape or other 'pro' software on
- other platforms in such a short time (I hope so). I rather think they will
- include IBrowse.. (Or maybe the AMosaic team made some miraculous
- improvements ... ). Someone also mentioned that the name is already in use
- for an astronomy program, so the final name might be different.

- I just got my hands on this, it is currently in alpha stage (v0.2) and only
- available to subscribers of the Dutch bi-monthly Amiga Magazine (to the
- people who are on their BBS, which you have access to if you are a
- subscriber). It does not use MUI and is quite fast, and in some respects more
- stable than AMosaic or the IBrowse alphas I have seen to date. Looks very
- promising and the author is working near full-time on it. Currently not
- supporting NetScape/HTML3/forms, but that is on the list. I guess you will have
- to wait at least a couple of months until the first public betas are available.
- You can use it as an HTML browser without running AmiTCP first, too. It has
- options to use AMosaic's hotlist and has some interesting asynchronous features
- and progress indicators too.
-
- Please don't ask me for a copy or overwhelm me with queries, a due
- announcement will be made by the author. Sorry to whet your appetites, but
- I will _not_ send out copies. Also I have not included the author's address
- here because I know the temptation to bombard someone with questions can be
- a burden. I will keep an eye on his homepage and once he makes a mention of
- it there I will post the address.

- I haven't heard of this one.

- An interesting rumour is that Sun will be selling their <$500 Internet
- machine, being an A1200. Rather think though that this is a misunderstanding/
- wishful thinking: Sun's Javascript language is being ported to the Amiga
- (not by Sun themselves) and someone made a nice but unlikely assumption.
